*Marine life is a natural occurrence and there is no guarantee that dolphins or mantas will be seen.  We have quoted the sighting percentages we have experienced over the past year.  Statistical data can be provided upon request.

Kailua Kona Bay is an excellent marine habitat for viewing the Hawaiian coral reef and marine ecosystem.  Weather is typically calm compared to the islands northwest region (Waikoloa/Kohala) which can be very windy with choppy seas.  The Spirit of Kona’s engines are quiet, so you don’t have to talk loud above engine noise.  Additionally, with two covered decks everyone has a 360 degree view and there are no issues with rain or sun!
